In the 3rd minute Gugu Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes, Ronaldão de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvinegro Carioca and the Dinamo Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronaldão de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Sidnei Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo Colorado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jardel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Torres in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Sidnei Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Dinamo Colorado's Gugu Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Sidney Sousa got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Colorado's zone, Hermínio Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Carvalho came out of the goal and Hermínio Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Gugu Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Miranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Guimarães in the 36th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Aguiar came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's Sidnei Azevedo. But to his dismay, Sidnei Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Alvinegro Carioca defense, Maurinho Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Aguiar. The Alvinegro Carioca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Aguiar should have stopped the shot. Cássio Aguiar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dinamo Colorado's Sidnei Azevedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermínio Ferraz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Damião received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cássio Aguiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Damião slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 55th minute. Tadeu Brodel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Leandro Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo Colorado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Jardel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Ferraz in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Sidnei Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio Aguiar. Sidnei Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 70th minute, Cipriano Loyola fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cássio Aguiar, passed just outside the right post. Sidnei Azevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 79th playminute. 88 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's Leandro Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cássio Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinamo Colorado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
