When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Rezende made a kick off. Jorge Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Pinho in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Rezende came free, but Jorge Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
