After 46 minutes of play, Compostela FSCMZ's Romário Borges made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Compostela FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xurupita FC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Lima to make the kick off.
