After 8 minutes of play, Xurupita FC's Edu Pena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Coice de Mula's Luís Eduardo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Lima in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Coice de Mula's zone, Gustavo Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 26th minute, Christian Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Edu Pena came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Xurupita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Pena couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Christian Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edu Pena took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo Rossi. Luís Eduardo Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Edu Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Rezende hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Lima to make the kick off. Xurupita FC's Edu Pena came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Luís Eduardo Rossi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Coice de Mula's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christian Lima 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Christian Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Rossi having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lima came free, but Luís Eduardo Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Xurupita FC's Juarês de Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 70th minute of the match, Christian Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Eduardo Rossi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luís Eduardo Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Lima's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês de Sena to maneuver through the defense. When Clóvis Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coice de Mula's protests and gave Clóvis Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. 0-6 became the score in the 75th minute when Christian Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Pena. Clóvis Guedes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edu Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xurupita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Juarês de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo Rossi. Coice de Mula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Xurupita FC played a much better game than Coice de Mula and deserved their victory. The Coice de Mula players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
