AÇAÍ SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Cabral came free, but Jonathan Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Secco made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Breno Jacinto however managed to control. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Clóvis Cabral put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Luz. 14 minutes into the game, Clóvis Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Stig Ahlbeck fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Uai MzC™'s protests and gave Stig Ahlbeck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Uai MzC™ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stig Ahlbeck hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Breno Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AÇAÍ SA's zone, Clóvis Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Luz came out of the goal and Clóvis Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Clóvis Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Rüknettin Aysan at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of AÇAÍ SA. 0-4. Jonathan Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Cabral in the 24th minute of the match. Serafim Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sune Rudberg having to make a save. In the 27th minute Breno Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Jacinto hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Clóvis Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jonathan Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Clóvis Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Luz. AÇAÍ SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. A sloppy throw-in by Waldemar Secco in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Uai MzC™'s Stig Ahlbeck. AÇAÍ SA's Jonathan Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Breno Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, AÇAÍ SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clóvis Cabral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jonathan Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Osikowicz in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd match minute, AÇAÍ SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in AÇAÍ SA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Sporting Uai MzC™'s Hélder Lago was substituted for Stig Ahlbeck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John McCain in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Luz saved AÇAÍ SA from getting behind. In the 69th minute John McCain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the AÇAÍ SA defense, Piotr Osikowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Luz. The AÇAÍ SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Luz should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Murilo de Souza in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sporting Uai MzC™'s Oséas Silva. 80 minutes into the game, John McCain lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Jonathan Luz. Waldemar Secco made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Breno Jacinto however managed to control. John McCain took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Luz. Jonathan Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. In the 94thth minute of the game John McCain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AÇAÍ SA's Jonathan Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John McCain, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. AÇAÍ SA's Jonathan Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save AÇAÍ SA from getting a goal against them.
