Ciro Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gonçalo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Neto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The long shot by Kiko da Fonseca in the 19th minute really tested Eliézer Baiano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th match minute, Clube Sporting Navuo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Clube Sporting Navuo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Eliézer de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Velloso came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FC La Masia's Ciro Recife. But to his dismay, Ciro Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Roberto Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Recife. In the 59th minute, Durval Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Eliézer de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Clube Sporting Navuo booed when FC La Masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perivaldo Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perivaldo Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Valle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Furtado got free with Gonçalo Velloso in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
