In the 17th match minute, SC Bertioga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. SC Bertioga's Carlos Alberto Lopes pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 19 minutes into the game, Diego Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 20 de Março FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bertioga the free kick. After a rather tough play, 20 de Março FC's Diego Cardozo got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 24 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Edu Penha. Evaristo da Mata, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Donato Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Claudinei Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Jonathan Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bertioga's protests and gave Jonathan Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Jonathan Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Bertioga's Donato Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo da Mata in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, 20 de Março FC's Valério Duarte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marquinhos Meirelles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Percival Montenegro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Diego Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Oliveira was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Bertioga!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pereira. A collision led to 20 de Março FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. David Soeiro hit a great ball. After 54 minutes, Evaristo da Mata made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. SC Bertioga's Donato Oliveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valério Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-5 became the score in the 63rd minute when Evaristo da Mata elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Evaristo da Mata rounded SC Bertioga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Evaristo da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Oliveira was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Evaristo da Mata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo da Mata really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After 81 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Leal. If Diego Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Donato Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes 20 de Março FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Simão. David Soeiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Diego Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 de Março FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 de Março FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
