Breno Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Túlio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Melquiades Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 12th minute of the match. Túlio Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Genko Balevski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Breno Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Ulysses Paiva got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Hílton Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hílton Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genko Balevski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Breno Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. In the 33rd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Valle to maneuver through the defense. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Túlio Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hulk Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulk Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genko Balevski went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hílton Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Genko Balevski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hulk Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Dias hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 62nd play minutes Hulk Fenomeno shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Breno Motta and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's João Carlos Melo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hulk Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Breno Motta got control of the ball when Hulk Fenomeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Genko Balevski scored to the left of an out of position Breno Motta, making the score, 0-6. In the 73rd minute Genko Balevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Erik Thorvaldsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Motta having to interfere. Hulk Fenomeno took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Breno Motta. Breno Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Motta having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Hulk Fenomeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.
