Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) In the 2nd match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Diguinho Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, DENVER™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Corrêa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zé Paulo Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Pinheiro having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Araújo. Almir Carneiro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by DENVER™'s Adrianinho Negri. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Almir Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Guedes in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Negri in the 26th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Almir Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Márcio Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrianinho Negri's late challenge caught a Floresta Negra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Negri helped the player get up and apologised. Toninho Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Sabóia in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolao Crispino got free with Toninho Pinheiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmir Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Eduardo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Carneiro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Eduardo Araújo was the one to do the kick off. Zé Paulo Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Nicolao Crispino kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Almir Carneiro was a little too slow when Luís Eduardo Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolao Crispino in the 60th minute of the match. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolao Crispino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Guedes in the 70th minute of play. Almir Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Negri in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Adrianinho Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENVER™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Fernandinho Araújo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The DENVER™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DENVER™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
