Floresta Negra FC's Almir Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Goiano in the 17th minute of play. The Jumentus Rock Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 59th minute Dieguinho Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murilo Mello's late challenge caught a Jumentus Rock Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo Mello helped the player get up and apologised. Jumentus Rock Club's Nuno Valladares was substituted for Zé Augusto Hoffmann. When the match was over Jumentus Rock Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floresta Negra FC throughout the match.
