The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luiz Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. Amílton Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Laerte Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 minutes, Amílton Lopez made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Laerte Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílton Lopez in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Jaime Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Lopez took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte Hermes. Laerte Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Lopez went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Laerte Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Coelho during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Irreal Madrid fully deserved thier win.
