A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Saul Jaen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karl Österberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Jaen in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Nacional de Rolândia's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo França came free, but Victor Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Durvalino de Amaral got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Harvey Elliott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Österberg. TAQUARI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harvey Elliott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Mauro Ramos in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAQUARI FC's Váldson da Silveira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Jaen made a kick off. Saul Jaen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Österberg having to make a save. Karl Österberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Elliott in the 53rd minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Karl Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional de Rolândia's zone, Luís Paulo França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Negri came out of the goal and Luís Paulo França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Freire. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Jaen in the 60th minute of play. Mats Nyman's late challenge caught a TAQUARI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Nacional de Rolândia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Nyman to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Mats Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Jaen in the 68th minute of play. Durvalino de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Durvalino de Amaral hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Harvey Elliott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Österberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Paulo França in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Negri saved Nacional de Rolândia from getting behind. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Jaen in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nacional de Rolândia defense, Luís Paulo França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Negri. The Nacional de Rolândia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Negri should have stopped the shot. When Nacional de Rolândia's Saul Jaen in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 94 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Yoel Alfaro. Nacional de Rolândia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
