Sprite Star Football's Arthur Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Amaral in the 20th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Sprite Star Football got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Trevisan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar de Godoi in the 26th minute of play forced Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Jonathan Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Lago having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar de Godoi came free, but Jonathan Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar de Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Arthur Lago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar de Godoi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Zanette saved Grêmio 20 Julho from getting behind. Gilmar Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar de Amaral made a kick off. Gonçalo Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sprite Star Football's goalkeeper Arthur Lago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arthur Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Romero in the 70th minute of the match. Jonathan Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Sprite Star Football's Oscar de Godoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Zanette. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. Sprite Star Football's Dieguinho Matos suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gilmar Romero's late challenge caught a Sprite Star Football's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilmar Romero helped the player get up and apologised. Sprite Star Football made a substitution. Leandro da Fonseca replaced Dieguinho Matos. After a rather tough play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Gilmar Romero got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Grêmio 20 Julho getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valdemar de Amaral hit a great ball. Valdemar de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Lago having to make a save. Marquinhos Falcão hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Grêmio 20 Julho's Jonathan Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio 20 Julho from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar de Godoi in the 94th minute of play. Valdemar de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sprite Star Football played a much better game than Grêmio 20 Julho and deserved their victory. The Grêmio 20 Julho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
