Diguinho Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. William Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Furlan having to interfere. A collision led to Olímpico Blumenau FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Yan Braga hit a great ball. Caco Furlan was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Diguinho Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diguinho Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Caco Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diguinho Souza went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Atlético da Colina's Wiliam Tepedino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Caco Furlan but with some difficulty. Diguinho Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Caco Furlan made a huge save. Diguinho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Furlan having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atlético da Colina's Nelson Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Lira in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Atlético da Colina were awarded a corner. Orlando Vinhas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Orlando Vinhas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan did a great save. William Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Caco Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Quintal lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético da Colina's zone, Gil Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Jesus came out of the goal and Gil Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Diguinho Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético da Colina's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Souza in the 73rd minute of play. Diguinho Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diguinho Souza in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético da Colina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
