Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelo Falcão kicked off to start the match. Christiano Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Febre Amarela got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Cosme. 5 minutes into the match, Febre Amarela's Caio Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdemar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Melo in the 6th minute of the match. Christiano Cosme was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Febre Amarela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Haroldo Recife sent off a good shot on target. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Anísio de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hélio Sarmento made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Augusto Mazza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélio Sarmento. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Anísio de Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hélio Sarmento to make any attempt to save it. Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Falcão in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Evaristo Pirani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Febre Amarela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Haroldo Recife received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hélio Sarmento came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Recife slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 42nd minute. Hélio Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Sá during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Febre Amarela's Danilo Sá got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Leme to make the kick off. Anísio de Amaral took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio Sarmento. Hélio Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Sanches during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 65 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Anísio de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Hélio Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Hélio Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Marcelo Falcão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Hélio Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Haroldo Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Haroldo Recife notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento. Hélio Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcelo Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Recife in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Febre Amarela's Allan Melo got a free kick in the 98th minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Anísio de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
