Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Cristiano Salgado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcelo Diniz scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovani Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eriberto Vidal in the 16th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Giovani Paulista was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Locomotiva grena through an amazing save. Giovani Paulista came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eriberto Vidal. But to his dismay, Eriberto Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eriberto Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Giovani Paulista managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eriberto Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th match minute, Locomotiva grena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio de Medeiros was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Amadeu Capixaba hit a great ball. Cristiano Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio de Medeiros having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Fernandinho Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcelo Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Marcelo Diniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 43 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper Giovani Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Diniz. 45 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Diniz came free, but Giovani Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo de Barros's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Haroldo de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Amadeu Capixaba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovani Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Túlio Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio de Medeiros. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Túlio Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Paulista was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Giovani Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Diniz in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Eriberto Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovani Paulista was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Geovânio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Diniz came free, but Giovani Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Locomotiva grena's Giovani Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Diniz in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Marcelo Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Eriberto Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 87 minutes into the game, Eriberto Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Giovani Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Marcelo Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva grena's Giovani Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Marcelo Diniz sped through Locomotiva grena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovani Paulista. In the 94th minute, Haroldo de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Vidal in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani Paulista saved Locomotiva grena from getting behind. Barcellos Mineiro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
