Melbourne 007's attentive Brandon Galvin managed to snatch the ball when Duke Trenoweth made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Mccormick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Starri Ööpik to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Malcolm Mcvey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the game 任博邦 made a throw-in which Malcolm Mcvey played forward. Joshua Mccormick hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Frenchville Sports Club's Burns Baba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Starri Ööpik in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Baladi saved Melbourne 007 from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Jones Rann. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Mcvey in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Starri Ööpik to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Jones Rann with Starri Ööpik as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 59 minutes, Burns Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frenchville Sports Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burns Baba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 韩桦益 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Gaspar having to interfere. Frenchville Sports Club made a substitution. Parker Nuñez replaced Burns Baba. 65 minutes into the game, Andrews Hayman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frenchville Sports Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melbourne 007 the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrews Hayman to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Mcvey came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 韩桦益 charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 韩桦益 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by 韩桦益. In the 74th minute of the match Starri Ööpik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Baladi skillfully saved the ball. Justo Baladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A sloppy throw-in by 任博邦 in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Frenchville Sports Club's Humphry Gerrard. Starri Ööpik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Baladi having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Melbourne 007 were victorious despite being under pressure from Frenchville Sports Club for much of the match.
