An unexpectedly hard shot by Hurtado Espejo in the 3rd minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Hurtado Espejo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Philotimo's goalie prevented a goal. Caicedo Berrondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 minutes, Caicedo Berrondo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Philotimo's Gavica Enderica tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oso Amezaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delgado Tendiero went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Hurtado Espejo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Oso Amezaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Philotimo. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavica Enderica. That made the score 3-2 after 32 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. GUAYACO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lastra Estevis was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Philotimo's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hurtado Espejo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Maximo León hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Macias Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavica Enderica came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo. But to his dismay, Caicedo Berrondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Fernandez Señor got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the game Macias Silva made a throw-in which Lastra Estevis played forward. After 65 minutes of play, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavica Enderica was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Johnny Arona replaced Maximo León. FC Philotimo's Gavica Enderica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Silveira in the 72nd minute of play. Caicedo Berrondo scored 7-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavica Enderica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Delgado Tendiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Amezaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Felix Artiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Caicedo Berrondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavica Enderica was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. 88 minutes into the game, Váldson Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Gavica Enderica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavica Enderica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. GUAYACO fully deserved thier win.
