Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Benagassi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Laba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rey Benagassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Laba was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Jerson Casas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Guayaquil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicente Leon the free kick. Jerson Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ernesto Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Laba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Benagassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 19 minutes Vicente Leon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xusto Vada who took care of the corner kick. After 22 minutes, Rey Benagassi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vicente Leon's Marian Laba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Leon's attentive Videl Balaunde managed to snatch the ball when Jerson Casas made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Marian Laba came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Rey Benagassi. But to his dismay, Rey Benagassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Marian Laba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rey Benagassi scored 0-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Laba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rey Benagassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 played minutes Vicente Leon got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Fernendo. In the 47th minute, Rey Benagassi made a precise shot to the right of Marian Laba. Vicente Leon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The Vicente Leon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Guayaquil FC were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blanco Lambarida to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Rey Benagassi lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Marian Laba. 60 minutes into the game, Ernesto Fernendo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jerson Casas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Inter de Guayaquil FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jerson Casas hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Brozović. When Marcelo Brozović fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Guayaquil FC's protests and gave Marcelo Brozović a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter de Guayaquil FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcelo Brozović hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerson Casas in the 83rd minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Marian Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Vicente Depino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Depino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Laba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Depino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marian Laba. That made the score 0-10 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toro Martínez to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Inter de Guayaquil FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vicente Leon.
