Higinio Malfanti struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Dionisio Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Baisanos فلسطين. 13 minutes into the match, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Malfanti came free, but Dionisio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Said Abad in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Baisanos فلسطين's zone, Jonathan Brotfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Nazar came out of the goal and Jonathan Brotfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC were awarded a corner. Juan Ochagavia went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Silvino Winter managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 31 minutes into the match, Higinio Malfanti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Costa. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Malfanti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 43rd minute of the match Samuel Cardemil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Costa skillfully saved the ball. If Higinio Malfanti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Los Baisanos فلسطين were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Said Abad made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Higinio Malfanti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Baisanos فلسطين's Said Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
