An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Contera in the 12th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Torbjörn Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes, I.A.S.A's Blasco Cerio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacorro Zugasti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in I.A.S.A reached it. In the 16th minute Dobromir Latocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pacorro Zugasti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leoiar Maceira in the 18th minute of the match. I.A.S.A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blasco Cerio in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leoiar Maceira to make the kick off. Pacorro Zugasti came out and tried to block the shot, but Leoiar Maceira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, I.A.S.A's Pacorro Zugasti threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romelio Urquijo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jerrold Arancibia in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pacorro Zugasti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pacorro Zugasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelio Urquijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's zone, Romelio Urquijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacorro Zugasti came out of the goal and Romelio Urquijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavierlada Aizaran was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 87 played minutes I.A.S.A got a freekick which was hit by Xavierlada Aizaran. For all the effort they put into the match, the I.A.S.A players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Peñarol FIFV.
