An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Jánosi in the 11th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Pál Dankó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richárd Dárdai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pál Dankó made a huge save. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alonzo Paskal hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes, Újlõrincfalva LC's Simon Magyar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pál Dankó came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Újlõrincfalva LC reached it. When Alonzo Paskal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alonzo Paskal hit a great ball. Pál Dankó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richárd Dárdai in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Áron Jánosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Dankó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richárd Dárdai scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Dankó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gyula Gyulai hit a great ball. Pál Dankó came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Újlõrincfalva LC's Simon Magyar. But to his dismay, Simon Magyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Áron Jánosi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Jánosi in the 45th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Pál Dankó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Pál Dankó successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edelényi Bányász's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Magyar was slow to take the kick. During this time Újlõrincfalva LC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Újlõrincfalva LC's Simon Magyar to fire away a dangerous shot which Pál Dankó despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Richárd Dárdai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illés Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Blue in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kliment Frontov hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Márk Lehoczky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Dankó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kliment Frontov fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edelényi Bányász's protests and gave Kliment Frontov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov got a free kick in the 61st minute. Pál Dankó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Áron Jánosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Márton Baló mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edelényi Bányász and the Újlõrincfalva LC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Edelényi Bányász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Baló to maneuver through the defense. Iván Cordoba's late challenge caught a Újlõrincfalva LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iván Cordoba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Edelényi Bányász's Iván Cordoba got a free kick in the 69th minute. Pál Dankó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boldizsár Szabados, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pál Dankó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Magyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lajos Murai hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boldizsár Szabados in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pál Dankó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pál Dankó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Áron Jánosi went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Áron Jánosi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a rather tough play, Edelényi Bányász's Márton Szusza got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Simon Magyar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pál Dankó showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
