Richard Lawton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute of the match Sacha Dowdall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Washington skillfully saved the ball. Max Washington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, FC LIVERPOOL's Abraham Gilchrist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Max Washington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoff Colley in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Colley in the 31st minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Max Washington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Geoff Colley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Max Washington. The goal made the score 2-1. A collision led to FC LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jeff Bignot hit a great ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Richard Lawton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Lawton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Wise in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Dane Newman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Lawton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Colley in the 57th minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Max Washington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Washington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Colley came free, but Max Washington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, FC LIVERPOOL's Geoff Colley made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Washington was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Max Washington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Colley in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Knowles. When FC LIVERPOOL's Philip Sheridan, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC LIVERPOOL. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Gilchrist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Washington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Geoff Colley scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Washington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd match minute, FC LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Colley to maneuver through the defense. In the 88thth minute of the game Philip Sheridan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Max Washington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Sheridan came free, but Max Washington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacha Dowdall got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Dowdall. The audience thought a goal was coming when Archie Chapman got free with Richard Lawton in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Damien Bean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LIVERPOOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
