Panagiotis Charalambakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Statham having to interfere. Michalis Maras might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Statham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michalis Maras ran back to his position shaking his head. Eustratios Saravakos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Michalis Bakakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GREEN PANTHERS FC. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lazaros Dimopoulos hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giorgos Bobolis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
