Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ibo Schreiner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reto Haag lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Reto Haag got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Mel Ecker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klement Stiegler. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mel Ecker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Klement Stiegler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hellmut Klasen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Burtscher to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Heinrich Ziervogel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klement Stiegler skillfully saved the ball. Guido Kirchberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sascha Nelsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemens Schellheimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olaf Lübke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemens Schellheimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Klement Stiegler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 34th minute of play. Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt's late challenge caught a VfL Bad Nenndorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. Sascha Nelsen didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 42nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Sascha Nelsen ran dejectedly back to his position. After 45 minutes of play, SC Otten's Mel Ecker made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klement Stiegler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt made a kick off. Heinrich Ziervogel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann was substituted for Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt. After 77 played minutes SC Otten got a freekick which was hit by Heinrich Ziervogel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemens Schellheimer in the 78th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Sascha Nelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sascha Nelsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Sascha Nelsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Lübke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Olaf Lübke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Kirchberg went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. SC Otten's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
