With 30 minutes on the clock, Josef Bernášek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Czechia Hradec Králové fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! With an all-out effort, Czechia Hradec Králové's Bartoloměj Kročil threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Skopec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Czechia Hradec Králové getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Artur Štefka hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Czechia Hradec Králové's Helmut Neumann got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. Jan Borůvka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gejza Loucký in the 70th minute of the match. Miroslav Kunz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jan Borůvka made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Hadraba got free with Jan Borůvka in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Czechia Hradec Králové's Jan Borůvka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Czechia Hradec Králové from getting a goal against them. Czechia Hradec Králové's Jan Borůvka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Grund in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Czechia Hradec Králové's Jan Borůvka got control of the ball when Stanislav Hadraba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Benedikt Bican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Borůvka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Stanislav Hadraba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan Borůvka was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tottenham Hotspur FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
