A collision led to YR☆ Rossoneri™ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ernest Stamatiu hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Vlad Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Minea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Eric Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Aursulesei in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Dinu Bungescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Bungescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Vlad Nicolae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Vlad Nicolae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordache Minea. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vlad Nicolae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Poenaru came free, but Iordache Minea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Voina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. Mihăiţă Voina hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mihail Dorineanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vlad Nicolae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
