This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Cosmin Roşu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Maxim Ipate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edgar Ciocârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Cosmin Roşu managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Narcis Ruşdea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabin Cosâmbescu's late challenge caught a ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabin Cosâmbescu helped the player get up and apologised. Sabin Cosâmbescu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cosmin Roşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ruşdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Edgar Ciocârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Ipate in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 69th minute, Damian Bărbat had to leave the field with a concussion. Dan Domide was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. After a rather tough play, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Dan Domide got a free kick in the 71st minute. Basarab Tarcea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
