The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Melinte during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicu Siclovan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Constantin Aluneanu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Melinte in the 25th minute of play forced Eantdit FK's goalkeeper Iurie Guriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc S.Zaharesti's zone, Sebastian Răuțchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Aluneanu came out of the goal and Sebastian Răuțchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Ion Oloieru made a precise shot to the right of Iurie Guriță. Eantdit FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Iurie Guriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Oloieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fc S.Zaharesti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Octavian Ghinescu in the 38th minute. The corner led Fc S.Zaharesti's Octavian Ghinescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Iurie Guriță despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th minute, Manole Aanicăi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantin Aluneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Răuțchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Nicu Siclovan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Aluneanu having to make a save. Constantin Aluneanu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nicu Siclovan sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Siclovan was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nicu Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eantdit FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Siclovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Aluneanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iurie Guriță was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and George Melinte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. George Melinte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Eantdit FK's goal looked a bit too open when George Melinte came free, but Iurie Guriță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marin Claudiescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iurie Guriță came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Claudiescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 68th minute. A collision led to Eantdit FK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ciprian Dinulescu hit a great ball. Nicu Siclovan took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Aluneanu. Constantin Aluneanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Fc S.Zaharesti's zone, Nicu Siclovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Aluneanu came out of the goal and Nicu Siclovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Răuțchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Aluneanu having to interfere. If Iustinian Găină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc S.Zaharesti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
