An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Iosif in the 23rd minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Martin Buciuceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Leontin Hâldan made a precise shot to the right of Martin Buciuceanu. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Aurelian Iosif took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Martin Buciuceanu to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's zone, Leontin Hâldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Buciuceanu came out of the goal and Leontin Hâldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Virgil Condeescu hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Olimpiu Păuceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Bojin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Păuceanu came free, but Ovidiu Bojin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leontin Hâldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martin Buciuceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Ivasiuc in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Leontin Hâldan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leontin Hâldan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Iosif in the 81st minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Martin Buciuceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Condeescu in the 85th minute of the match. The CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Champions Iasi's performance. The match ended with a win for Champions Iasi.
