In the 5th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Răduleț to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Ignătescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Angheluță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Matei Angheluță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Ignătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Ignătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Angheluță in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Huns defense, Paul Stănoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Ignătescu. The The Huns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Ignătescu should have stopped the shot. After 22 minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezar Drâmbă who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Traian Stoicescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Ghionescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With splendid footwork Traian Stoicescu arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 22nd minute. A collision led to GoooooooooooooooooooooooL getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cornel Gabor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Paul Beniuc got a free kick in the 27th minute. Manuel Ignătescu came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Alin Maxim. But to his dismay, Alin Maxim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cezar Drâmbă hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. David Medeleanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Ignătescu. The Huns's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cezar Drâmbă was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Rareș Visarion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Huns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoooooooooooooooooooooooL the free kick. Rareș Visarion hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Alin Maxim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Ignătescu, 1-3. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Traian Stoicescu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Traian Stoicescu scored 2-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ghionescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Ghionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Drâmbă in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Aristide Stroe hit a great ball. Manuel Ignătescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from David Medeleanu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
