In the 4th minute, Tunge Titans's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ragnar Johnsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Tunge Titans defense, Jens-Ove Ekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenny Forsberg. The Tunge Titans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenny Forsberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Lundqvist in the 23rd minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Kiempe came free, but Jens-Ove Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Tunge Titans booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Rydelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Jansson in the 47th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ragnar Johnsson made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mikael Kiempe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ove Åkesson. Di Röe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Kiempe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tunge Titans's Kenny Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Johnsson in the 60th minute of play. Kenny Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Olov Kihlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Åkesson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ernst Dahlgren. In the 72nd minute, Ernst Dahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Tunge Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Eklund came free, but Kenny Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Almqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Birger Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunge Titans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Di Röe the free kick. Jens-Ove Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Kiempe in the 89th minute. Ragnar Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kenny Forsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
