The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Eklund during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bispmotala BK's Christer Wallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kilstedt in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Fredric Tinglöf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örsjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Emil Holm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bispmotala BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örsjö the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Bispmotala BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Holm to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Tinglöf in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Wallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Bispmotala BK's Emil Holm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristoffer Ekeberg. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Olof Kjellberg made a kick off. The supporters of Örsjö booed when Bispmotala BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Lundkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredric Tinglöf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Christer Wallgren made a huge save. In the 97th minute of the match Claes Wall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristoffer Ekeberg skillfully saved the ball.
