After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Bengt Lenberg got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes, Oskars Glada Gäng's Allan Unesson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Mikaelsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oskars Glada Gäng reached it. A hard shot 26 in the game by Knut Håning from a close distance when the talented Roland Haglund managed to make a qualified save. Oskars Glada Gäng's players were relieved. Dan Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Haglund having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Bållström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Axel Bållström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alexander Mikaelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Gerdberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 79th minute of the match Bengt Lenberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bengt Lenberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Söderhall getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bengt Lenberg hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Karl-Axel Bållström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Mikaelsson. Söderhall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Axel Bållström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
