Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Tobias Jernberg made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Tobias Jernberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Möllgren got free with Stig-Arne Västerberg in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mats Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Tobias Jernberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nordic Union's Mats Ekeroth. Mats Ekeroth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Nordic Union's zone, Tobias Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Ekeroth came out of the goal and Tobias Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes Nordic Union got a freekick which was hit by Stig Norberg. Mats Ekeroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Tobias Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Nordic Union got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Sjöberg. 27 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Västerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Pihlgren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Skålberg in the 34th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Skålberg came free, but Stig-Arne Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Berggren charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Berggren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stig-Arne Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Hellström in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. It was beautiful to see Oakcroft Thrashers's Tobias Jernberg in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Dan Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Wassenius had several of the Nordic Union's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Mats Ekeroth as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute, Dan Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Pihlgren in the 78th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Nordic Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Berg to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ingvar Lagerberg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Elliott Möllgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Arne Västerberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Nordic Union's Elliott Möllgren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Arne Västerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!
