An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Gabrielsson in the 4th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Magne Håkansson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Commander Crowe's Vincent Vesterberg. Vincent Vesterberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ivan Billberg sped through Commander Crowe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vincent Vesterberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Hellström in the 33rd minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Vincent Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Paul Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Vesterberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Hellström came free, but Vincent Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Vesterberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Bergqvist made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Vincent Vesterberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Strömsbro IF's Vincent Vesterberg threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Billberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Sune Tunström got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Commander Crowe's Vincent Vesterberg got control of the ball when Paul Hellström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Strömsbro IF's Paul Hellström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Sivert Kellberg fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Commander Crowe's protests and gave Sivert Kellberg a yellow card for diving instead. Sivert Kellberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Albin Vallman got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Oskar Pihlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskar Pihlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Commander Crowe booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Tunström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strömsbro IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
