Woopbongo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Henry Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Nusnäs IF's Ivar Berggren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some careless play in the Woopbongo defense, Ulf Melin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Wennerquist. The Woopbongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Wennerquist should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goalkeeper Henry Wennerquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Berggren. Ivar Berggren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 28th playminute. In the 33rd minute, Nusnäs IF's Ulf Melin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Wennerquist. Henry Wennerquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jim Dahlberg hit a great ball. Woopbongo's Henry Wennerquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Woopbongo from getting a goal against them. Woopbongo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Johan Gustavsson scored to the left of an out of position Henry Wennerquist, making the score, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Orvar Andberg made the kick off in the second half. Orvar Andberg scored 7-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Wennerquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes of play, Nusnäs IF's Johan Gustavsson made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Wennerquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute of the game, Stefan Snell landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 66 minutes, Michael Lägdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusnäs IF and the Woopbongo players grew even worse after the yellow card.
