In the 15th minute, Vilbergen Boys Club's Malcolm Bjurström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Malcolm Bjurström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vilbergen Boys Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Malcolm Bjurström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 14 minutes into the game, one of Vilbergen Boys Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Boberg in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Lindgren got free with Andy Arenstedt in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Andy Arenstedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andy Arenstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Berg in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match, Michael Berg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andy Arenstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hans Kellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Andy Arenstedt made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Helander to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leif Lindgren hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Jim Ennegren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vilbergen Boys Club's Andy Arenstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Vilbergen Boys Club from getting a goal against them. Rikard Helander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Andy Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Lindqvist made a kick off. Lennart Sundén hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Andy Arenstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Berg in the 53rd minute of play. Marcus Lindqvist in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaron Bergqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Kellbom in the 60th minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Andy Arenstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikard Helander's late challenge caught a Vilbergen Boys Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Helander helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Helander. When Marcus Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vilbergen Boys Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 76th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. When Leif Lindgren fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIF LEEDS BK's protests and gave Leif Lindgren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Leif Lindgren hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Lindqvist got free with Aaron Bergqvist in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Hans Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. DIF LEEDS BK's Verner Fredriksson was substituted for Michael Berg. Andy Arenstedt came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by DIF LEEDS BK's Rikard Helander. But to his dismay, Rikard Helander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
