When Kristian Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ZigZag Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Biörling couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, RB Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Biörling came free, but John Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Deckberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, ZigZag Athletic's Kristian Biörling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind John Billström. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Henrik Larsfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZigZag Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Larsfelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Billström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

John Billström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Modig went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute Kristian Biörling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Billström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ludwig Söderlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Söderlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 73 minutes, Kristian Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Biörling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jarl Ödman fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Göteborg's protests and gave Jarl Ödman a yellow card for diving instead. Jarl Ödman hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Kalle Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Kåre Målare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
