In the 7th minute, Åke Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Magnus Anundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Bergfelt in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Rossoneri XI's Åke Bergfelt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Magnus Anundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Bergfelt in the 17th minute of play. Albert Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Bjurström having to interfere. Rossoneri XI's Alvar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Isaksson in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Åke Bergfelt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Magnus Anundsson. The goal made the score 2-0. After 36 played minutes Rossoneri XI got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Lang. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Albert Bergqvist made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Magnus Anundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Bergfelt in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rossoneri XI's zone, Agne Isaksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Bjurström came out of the goal and Agne Isaksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Rossoneri XI's Alvar Bjurström got control of the ball when Albert Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Bergfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karl-Magnus Anundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Åke Bergfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Lang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Anundsson having to interfere. Jimmy Blomkvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Rossoneri XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rossoneri XI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sunkens Surtröjor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
