After some careless play in the AC DeMiRHaN defense, Oscar Bruner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Mahoney. The AC DeMiRHaN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Mahoney should have stopped the shot. American Airlines's Tod Werner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Castaneda in the 28th minute of play. Markus Mahoney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alistair Heller in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Phil Craft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Mahoney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
