After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ruben Crandall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Rodriguez's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Crandall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colin Crane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Colin Crane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curt Barrios. Owen Gill took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregory Fink. Gregory Fink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Simon. When Curt Barrios came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Deportivo Rodriguez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curt Barrios couldn't finish the play. Colin Crane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Napier's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Owen Gill got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Geoff Ackerman hit a great ball. Gregory Fink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kareem Weeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kareem Weeks in the 27th minute of play forced Deportivo Rodriguez's goalkeeper Gregory Fink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyron Coats hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Ruben Crandall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Rodriguez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Crandall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregory Fink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucien Simon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Raymond Arrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kareem Weeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dudley Deal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colin Crane having to interfere. Brant Marion hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Colin Crane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Napier in the 46th minute of play. The Deportivo Rodriguez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EL LOBO DE MIAMI were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Curt Barrios to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Steve Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Rodriguez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Steve Napier fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Rodriguez's protests and gave Steve Napier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Deportivo Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Napier to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Steve Napier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colin Crane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 65 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lucien Simon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregory Fink was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudley Deal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff Ackerman in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colin Crane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Steve Napier came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Deportivo Rodriguez fans jumped to their feet. In the 85th minute, Owen Gill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curt Barrios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Núñez to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Napier came free, but Colin Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EL LOBO DE MIAMI were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Rodriguez's much stronger midfield.
