The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telmo Miguéis to make the kick off. When Joaquim Torres came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Torres couldn't finish the play. If Valério Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Telmo Miguéis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delta FS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Many of Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 may have spent more time on the ball, but Delta FS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
