Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Moath Al Ansari started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Hsi in the 2nd minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Faizal Ramachandran came free, but Shaheen Al Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Iskandar Laycock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shaheen Al Ali was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Dyce during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, John Dyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Seah kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Moath Al Ansari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rifqi Choo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Alexander Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danish Henderson. Shaheen Al Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faizal Ramachandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bader Al Jalahma hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faizal Ramachandran made a kick off. Shaheen Al Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danish Henderson in the 54th minute of play. Moath Al Ansari was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Shaheen Al Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Hsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes, Oun Shamsah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DUBAI Palm Jumeirah and the Oakham players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oakham booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oun Shamsah didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zaher Al Mahmed during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Bryan Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rifqi Choo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moath Al Ansari in the 77th minute. Bader Al Jalahma kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Msaed Shamsah charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Msaed Shamsah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Msaed Shamsah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes, Oakham's Daniel Seah shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oakham reached it. Shaheen Al Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faizal Ramachandran in the 84th minute of the match. Oakham's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
