An unexpectedly hard shot by M. Andik Sumadipraja in the 21st minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Maurice Chepchumba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Hendri Witoelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durian FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave George Weahs Academy the free kick. The supporters of George Weahs Academy booed when Durian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Waluyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Sophan Kartiwa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurice Chepchumba. George Weahs Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sophan Kartiwa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 43rd minute Jawahir Mwaura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Budi Pradnyana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Francis Atieno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francis Atieno to make the kick off. Budi Pradnyana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francis Atieno's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 87 played minutes Durian FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Prasnanto. Charles Uche missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Budi Pradnyana right hand side. M. Andik Sumadipraja charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed M. Andik Sumadipraja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Durian FC's M. Andik Sumadipraja got a free kick in the 94th minute. George Weahs Academy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Durian FC for a fine match.
