The referee showed Marco Kimetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Marco Kimetz. With 22 minutes on the clock, Erubiel Tello commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 23 played minutes Deportivo David Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Tello. After having played for 23 minutes, Bruno Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Romildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo David Mardel's Fabian Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Lauro in the 36th minute of play. Fabian Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo David Mardel's zone, Nemesio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Paio came out of the goal and Nemesio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Dario Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Feliz in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cascadia United's Nemesio Raymond got a free kick in the 57th minute. Americo Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Nemesio Raymond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cascadia United defense, Laureano Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Gutierrez. The Cascadia United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Gutierrez should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jorge Osoitz hit a great ball. Nemesio Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Paio having to make a save. Adolfo Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Paio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo David Mardel's goalkeeper Fabian Paio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Lauro scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Paio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Nemesio Raymond took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Fabian Paio to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Ramiro Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deportivo David Mardel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cascadia United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
