The audience was convinced that Eliseo Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Abadia was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Prospero Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 32 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Balesio. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Gustavo Bautista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lino Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Orlan having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Eriberto Frisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Prospero Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Ekialde made a kick off. Jaime Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Ekialde went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Bernardo Ado's late challenge caught a DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Orlan came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Gustavo Bautista. But to his dismay, Gustavo Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Prospero Abadia got control of the ball when Eriberto Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's zone, Luciano Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Orlan came out of the goal and Luciano Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Abadia made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Eriberto Frisco sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute Lino Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Guillen. Estudiantes de América were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
