After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Juan Pablo Søring got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fcion C.A.'s Lino Sanson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel San took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Sanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Atlético Argentino's Candido Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Theodore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 33rd minute Candido Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Gerardo Urtun got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leonides Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fcion C.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel San breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguito Quintana in the 43rd minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Jacobo Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fcion C.A.'s Jacobo Theodore got control of the ball when Dieguito Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Lauro was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Edgard Enaut hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Fcion C.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Candido Lauro came free, but Jacobo Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Romano in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel San, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Atlético Argentino's Dieguito Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dieguito Quintana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Theodore was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Atlético Argentino booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fcion C.A. booed when Atlético Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Amancio Duarte hit a great ball. Fcion C.A.'s Jacobo Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Lauro in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieguito Quintana in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Theodore saved Fcion C.A. from getting behind. Jacobo Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Lauro in the 90th minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dieguito Quintana sped through Fcion C.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Theodore.
