Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilberto Abaunza took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Benigno Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute Gilberto Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Bela was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Benigno Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Abaunza in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Bela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Damaso Eron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Bela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Bela was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Pedro Bela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The supporters of Magic is Back booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrián Domenech didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Bela was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Argentinos Juniors's Pedro Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Eron in the 36th minute of play. Pedro Bela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Argentinos Juniors defense, Gilberto Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Bela. The Argentinos Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Bela should have stopped the shot. Adrián Domenech kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Argentinos Juniors's Pedro Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Abaunza in the 46th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Argentinos Juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Magic is Back:s goal. The referee gave Magic is Back a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benigno Ricart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Argentinos Juniors's Pedro Bela. 0-3. After the first half Magic is Back were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Pedro Bela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Bela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Abaunza went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Celso Nerio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Pedro Bela came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Magic is Back's Gilberto Abaunza. But to his dismay, Gilberto Abaunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gilberto Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Pedro Bela made a huge save. If Gilberto Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Abaunza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Pedro Bela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Pedro Bela managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Magic is Back's Damaso Eron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damaso Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Pedro Bela managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Magic is Back's Gilberto Abaunza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Bela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Pedro Bela had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Gilberto Abaunza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Henrico during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Braulio Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benigno Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Magic is Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Ricart couldn't finish the play. 99 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Eron came free, but Pedro Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Magic is Back could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Argentinos Juniors throughout the match.
