The Lapachito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Motu's Hipolito Amor got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Albino Sendoa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Paio in the 18th minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Domingo Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Lapachito's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Deunoro came free, but Ciro Aimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pio to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Seber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Tiso in the 24th minute of the match. Delmiro Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Baltasar Corderall scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Seber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jesus Tiso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Seber was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hipolito Amor hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Motu defense, Jesus Tiso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Seber. The Motu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Seber should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Mario Cugat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lapachito's Ciro Aimar didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Tiso to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Baltasar Corderall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingo Seber, 0-4. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucas Paio hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Lapachito's Jesus Tiso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Seber. Domingo Seber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Baltasar Corderall hit a great ball. Domingo Seber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Paio in the 67th minute of the match. Mario Cugat charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Cugat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Cugat hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Lucas Paio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingo Seber saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute, Remigio Abad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Seber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Albino Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Deunoro's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Orlando Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Motu's Mario Cugat couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lapachito. Mario Cugat was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ciro Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
